Do you know who murdered 30 year old Reginald Darnell Sease in 1993?
On the cold morning of Friday, January 15, 1993, the life of 30-year-old Reginald Darnell Sease, a Black male, was tragically cut short in what police have described as an execution-style homicide. Between 7:55 and 8:00 AM, Sease was shot multiple times with a large caliber handgun at 995 Tenth Street in Waynesboro, Virginia, dying at the scene.
The Waynesboro Police Department continues to investigate this cold case, believing that there are individuals who still hold information that could lead to a resolution. Investigators have identified a vehicle of interest, a dark-colored BMW with a spoiler on the back, which may have had New York or North Carolina license plates.
Two possible suspects were described in the initial investigation. One is a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds, who was seen wearing an Army-style jacket and a dark ball cap. The description of the second suspect is limited to a Black male. Despite these leads, no arrests have been made in the decades since the murder, and the case remains unsolved.
