On April 25, 1989, 21-year-old Hispanic male Robert Puente III was discovered deceased in his San Antonio, Texas, apartment. The sequence of events leading to this tragic discovery began when the San Antonio Police Department contacted his father, Robert Puente Jr., inquiring about the whereabouts of a red 1988 Nissan pickup truck registered to his son.
