Victor Huizar-Vargas, a 39-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on January 28, 2007, in Houston, Texas. He was fatally shot on January 27, 2006, outside an apartment complex on Telephone Road around 1:55 a.m. Huizar-Vargas and two friends were gathered outside when an unknown suspect approached and shot him. He was immediately transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead the following day.
