Danny Alexander, aged 35, was fatally shot on April 10, 2007, outside of Poppa Burger on North Main Street in Houston. The incident began as an argument in the restaurant's parking lot, during which a maroon extended-cab pickup truck approached, and shots were fired at Alexander. He was struck at least once in the upper back. Authorities have been investigating the case, including reviewing security footage from the restaurant, but no witnesses or suspects were initially identified. Danny Alexander was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to Ben Taub General Hospital.
