On December 28, 2007, Nicolas Lopez, age 26, was killed following an altercation at a nightclub located on Hadley Street in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when Lopez became involved in a heated argument with a large group of men inside the club. The argument escalated, resulting in Lopez being fatally stabbed in the chest and abdomen. He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
