Noemi Huizar, 18 years old, died on March 19, 2008, in her home in Fort Worth, Texas, from a gunshot wound to the head. Her body was found by her brother and father at approximately 10 p.m. on that evening, seated on a couch in the living room. Authorities initially considered the possibility of both homicide and suicide, as the circumstances were ambiguous.
