Garcia and his son, Sergio Garcia Jr., were both shot during an altercation, resulting in Garcia's death, while his son was injured but survived.
The suspects fled in different vehicles, with descriptions of a dark-colored SUV and a white vehicle used in their escape. Authorities are still seeking information, and witnesses reported that there was constant activity at the Garcia home, which may have contributed to the incident. Houston police are appealing for any information that could lead to an arrest.
