On August 27, 2022, a fatal shooting occurred outside a Walmart on West Sam Houston Parkway in Houston, Texas. Christopher David Hernandez, 23, was charged with murder following the incident. The altercation began as Hernandez and the victim parked on the same row and encountered each other while walking toward the store entrance.
