Pourcia Turner, also known as Tierra Horn, was found dead near Buffalo Bayou in Houston, Texas, on June 13, 2008. The case involved a complicated and tragic series of events between her and her partner, Shania Laneice Turner, who was ultimately arrested and charged in connection with the murder. Turner, 24 at the time of her arrest, was accused of strangling Horn following a heated argument, which reportedly stemmed from Shania's belief that Horn had given her a sexually transmitted disease.
