On September 24, 2009, Evaristo Sierra, aged 31, was found dead from a gunshot wound at his home in the 12200 block of Maverick Bluff, San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. after a friend discovered him inside the residence. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots earlier in the day, and a gold-colored four-door vehicle was observed fleeing the scene at high speed with several black males inside.
These individuals, as well as the vehicle, have not been located, and their connection to the crime remains uncertain.
The police investigation indicated that the shooting was targeted, but so far, the case remains unsolved. Crime Stoppers of San Antonio has offered a reward of up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the identification and arrest of the individuals involved.
