Luis Martinez, 22, was shot and killed on January 31, 2011, in northwest Houston, Texas. The incident occurred outside a Michoacana Meat Market, where Martinez was attacked in what appears to be an act of retaliation for an earlier event. The suspect, Angel Chavira, was charged with murder. Chavira is believed to have carried out the attack because he suspected that Martinez was responsible for the death of one of Chavira's relatives in a previous shooting on Sherwood Lane.
