A Colorado mother of 3 is murdered
Rita Gutierrez-Garcia, a 34-year-old mother of three, was last seen in the early morning hours of March 18, 2018, after celebrating St. Patrick's Day with friends at a bar in Longmont, Colorado. She was spotted in an alley near the bar around 2:30 a.m. and disappeared shortly thereafter. Her sudden disappearance sparked a major investigation, and in June 2021, Juan Jose Figueroa Jr. was charged with her kidnapping and murder.
