On February 27, 2012, Jeremy Perry, a 22-year-old from Houston, Texas, was shot at 2313 Cleburne Street. The incident occurred in the evening when Perry was at home. Following the shooting, he was rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital but succumbed to his injuries the following day. The Houston Police Department launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, but there was limited information regarding potential suspects or motives.
