On June 9, 2012, Sadie Butler, 57, was fatally shot at a bus stop located on West Tidwell Road in northwest Houston. Butler, who was described by her family as a kind-hearted and trusting person, was found around 6:20 a.m. by a passerby who alerted a nearby gas station attendant.
