Juan Castillo, a 20-year-old from Houston, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on July 17, 2012. The incident took place in southwest Houston, in what police described as a targeted attack. Castillo was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside of an apartment complex on Westward Street. Authorities indicated that the attack may have been connected to gang activity in the area, though no definitive suspects were identified at the time.
