On November 22, 2013, Thomas Bradley "Brad" Garza, a 26-year-old white male from Fort Worth, Texas, was fatally shot by law enforcement during the execution of a search warrant at a residence in north Fort Worth. According to available reports, Garza was armed with a shotgun and pointed it at officers as they entered the premises, prompting a narcotics officer to discharge his weapon, resulting in Garza's death.
