Jamarcus Owens, aged 21, was killed in a shooting incident on December 23, 2013, in southwest Houston. The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 6100 block of Havendale, near the Westpark Tollway. Owens had picked up a friend and parked outside the friend's residence when an unknown vehicle approached. Someone from the approaching car opened fire on Owens and his companion, leading to a tragic and sudden attack.
