David Lee Bilbo, age 41, was killed on May 8, 2014, in Fort Worth, Texas. His death was the result of a violent incident involving former American Eagle Outfitters employees, who were charged with murder. The two suspects, Carter Cervantez and Clarence Mallory, allegedly strangled David, who was an assistant manager, after he had previously reported them for a theft involving $18,000 at the store. The crime occurred after David worked an overnight shift, and his body was found later that morning under suspicious circumstances involving a fire in his apartment.
