In May 2014, 53-year-old Marion Lee Brown, a Fort Worth manufacturing executive, was tragically murdered in a case that garnered significant attention. Brown was last seen alive on May 22, 2014, at his workplace. On May 30, authorities discovered a burning piece of carpet containing partial human remains in Smith County, Texas, approximately 130 miles southeast of Fort Worth.
