Hector Reyna, a 33-year-old Houston resident, was killed on December 17, 2014. His death was connected to broader criminal activity involving gang-related violence in the Houston area. Hector, known as "Pantera," was one of several individuals linked to the Southwest Cholos gang, a group involved in a wide range of illegal activities, including drug and firearm trafficking, human smuggling, and sex trafficking.
