On December 29, 2014, at approximately 10:10 p.m., 55-year-old Jorge Luis Gallegos-Lucio was fatally shot outside his residence at 600 Turner Road in Houston, Texas. According to the Houston Police Department, Gallegos-Lucio was approached by an unknown suspect who shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene.
