Wesley Keene, a 55-year-old security guard, was fatally shot while on duty at KLAD Manufacturing in Houston on July 4, 2015. He was working overnight to protect the premises during the holiday weekend when he was found deceased in the parking lot by a friend who went to check on him after receiving a concerning voice message.

The investigation remained open until Tyderrian Deleon Duffield, a serial burglary suspect, was identified and arrested in 2021. Duffield was subsequently charged ...
