On October 13, 2015, 31-year-old Marcus Johnson, an African American male from Houston, Texas, was found deceased under suspicious circumstances. The investigation into his death led to the arrest of Marcus Clifton Johnson, a 39-year-old African American male, on December 23, 2015. He was charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, specifically involving a human corpse.
