On April 7, 2016, 38-year-old Hispanic male Jose Valero was fatally shot during an altercation at Cindy’s Night Club, located in the 11200 block of Hempstead Road in northwest Houston. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. when an argument between Valero and another man escalated. The assailant drew a firearm and shot Valero twice, resulting in his death.
