Dereck Lawton

On July 16, 2016, Dereck Lawton, aged 44, was the victim of a fatal shooting in his Houston residence located in the 7800 block of Tierwester Street. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when two unknown suspects forcibly entered his home. This violent home invasion turned into an aggravated robbery, during which the suspects demanded property and ultimately shot Lawton multiple times.
