Diederick Jonas Vandewege, aged 3 months, was killed on December 15, 2016, along with his mother, Shanna Vandewege, in their home in Fort Worth, Texas. Their bodies were discovered by the authorities after Craig Vandewege, Shanna's husband and Diederick's father, made a 911 call claiming that someone had broken into their house and killed his family.
