On February 10, 2017, Kendrick Robertson, aged 24, was fatally shot while attempting to break up an altercation in the Greenspoint area of Houston, Texas. The incident occurred near an apartment complex on Northborough Drive, where several individuals were arguing. Robertson, who was from Humble, Texas, tried to intervene when a man, later identified as James McQueen, approached him from behind and shot him with a pistol.
