On August 14, 2017, Ibrahem Lawal, aged 61, was shot and killed in his garage at 11818 Spring Grove Drive in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred late in the evening around 10:10 p.m., when neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots. Lawal was found dead at the scene by Houston Police officers responding to the call, and paramedics from the Houston Fire Department confirmed his death shortly after arriving.
