Darryl Garrett, aged 51, was killed on October 16, 2017, in Houston, Texas, during a violent incident that took place at a north Houston nightclub. Garrett was working an extra security job alongside two other Harris County Precinct 4 constable deputies when they were ambushed. The shooting occurred around the early hours at the 45 Norte Bar and Lounge, where the deputies were providing security. Garrett, along with Deputy Juqaim Barthen, was injured, while Deputy Kareem Atkins was fatally shot. ...
