In the summer of 2007, the life of 23-year-old Andre Dewayne Wright, Jr., an African-American man from Memphis, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. On August 12, 2007, his body was discovered, and the ensuing investigation by law enforcement determined that he was the victim of a homicide.
