On a Sunday night in September 2014, the life of a young Memphis man was tragically cut short. Derrwin Morgan, a 23-year-old male, was discovered with a gunshot wound at 4266 Eastwind. The Memphis police received a call about an aggravated assault around 9:30 p.m. on September 28, 2014. Upon their arrival, officers found Mr. Morgan, who was then rushed to the Regional Medical Center.
