On September 11, 2015, Robert Irby, aged 74, was killed in his Memphis home in what authorities determined to be a violent robbery. The investigation led to the arrests and convictions of Robert Belt and Jocelin Williams. Both individuals were charged with especially aggravated robbery and first-degree murder in connection with Irby’s death.
