In the Whitehaven neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee, a young man's life was cut short on the evening of March 28, 2016. Ladavid Pegues, a 24-year-old male, was found shot on Daron Avenue. The initial discovery was made by officers who were responding to a call about a different matter in the area when they were flagged down and directed to the scene. There, they found Pegues with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but tragically, he did not survive his injurie ...
