On July 13, 2016, Kevin Blanchette, aged 34, was shot and killed in Nashville, Tennessee. His body was discovered by a passing motorist, with police being alerted to the scene shortly afterward. The homicide occurred on the side of a street, and despite ongoing efforts by the Nashville Police Department, the case remained unsolved for several months after the incident.
