Three beloved individuals are murdered during the commission of a robbery in South Carolina On May 16, 2003, 56-year-old Sylvia S. Holtzclaw was murdered in a brutal triple homicide during a robbery at the Blue Ridge Savings Bank in Greer, South Carolina. Sylvia, a bank employee, was working at the time when the assailant entered the bank. Along with Sylvia, two customers, James "Eb" Barnes and his wife, were also present.
