Jessica Frederick, a 27-year-old woman, was found murdered on December 5, 1998, in an industrial area of Pittsburg, California. She was one of several victims in a string of homicides that occurred in the city during late 1998 and early 1999, which included the murders of other women. Frederick had been stabbed and her body was discovered near a wrecking yard on Harbor Street.
