Nalin Tilghman, aged 29, was fatally shot in the early hours of September 22, 2007, in West Philadelphia. The shooting took place on the 200 block of Ramsey Street shortly after 2 a.m., and Nalin was pronounced dead at the scene minutes later. He lived in the 5800 block of Cedarhurst Avenue, which is also located in West Philadelphia. His death was one of two fatal shootings in Philadelphia that weekend, highlighting the ongoing issue of gun violence in the city at that time.
