On May 6, 2008, Delaney Humphrey, a 29-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was shot and killed in the city's Brewerytown neighborhood. The incident occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. on North Dover Street. Humphrey was shot multiple times, with gunshot wounds to his head, chest, and stomach. He was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital but was pronounced dead at 11:52 p.m. No suspects were apprehended, and the investigation into his murder remains ongoing.
