In the afternoon of Friday, November 28, 2008, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Philadelphia. Daylen Edwards, a 22-year-old Black male, was discovered with a gunshot wound to his chest. The grim finding occurred behind a building on Haverford Avenue, near City Avenue.

Emergency services were called to the scene, and Edwards was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead ...
