In the spring of 2009, a 26-year-old African-American man named John Fisher was fatally shot in Philadelphia. The incident that claimed his life unfolded on the 1500 block of South 24th Street on May 15th. When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered Fisher suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response and efforts of emergency medical personnel, his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead at the location.
