Walter Martinez, aged 22, was killed on October 4, 2009, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His tragic death occurred in the midst of ongoing violence affecting several neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Walter Martinez was shot and succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
