Frederick Douglas Jr., a 28-year-old resident of Pittsburgh, was shot and killed on January 16, 2014, in the Homewood neighborhood. Frederick was found lying on the ground in the 7100 block of Kedron Street with gunshot wounds to his stomach and leg. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival. The investigation into his death remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made thus far.
