On the night of May 14, 2014, 22-year-old Jonathan Perez was shot and killed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The incident took place on the 300 block of West Cayuga Street around 9:32 p.m. Philadelphia Police Officers responded to the scene and found Perez suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. He was placed in a patrol vehicle and rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries that night.
