On July 11, 2014, Omar Perez, a 36-year-old Hispanic male, was shot and killed in Philadelphia. The incident occurred on the 2900 block of North Waterloo Street shortly after midnight. Omar sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen. Despite being rushed to Temple University Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries that same morning.
