Charles Wiley, a 28-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was found shot on the evening of Wednesday, October 1, 2014, in the 3100 block of Rosewood Street. Philadelphia police officers arrived at about 7:50 p.m. and discovered him lying on the ground in front of a residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical responders rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where doctors admitted him in critical condition and attempted to save his life.
