Jorge Lu Morales-Quiles, a 44-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was found dead on February 19, 2015, inside a 2009 Chrysler 300 on the 100 block of West Tabor Avenue. Philadelphia Police officers responded to the scene at approximately 8:59 p.m. after the vehicle had reportedly struck a pole. Upon investigation, they discovered Morales-Quiles inside the car, suffering from a gunshot wound to his left thigh.
Emergency medical personnel arrived shortly after but, unfortunately, pronounced him dead at the scene by 9:05 p.m.
Morales-Quiles, who lived on the 2400 block of Coral Street, was a Hispanic male whose death remains unsolved.
