Dino Marks, a 31-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, was shot and killed on February 16, 2007. The incident occurred at the intersection of Locust Avenue and East 12th Street. Police were dispatched to the area in response to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, and when they arrived, they found Marks lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
