On March 3, 2016, Michael Macon, a 39-year-old Black male, was tragically shot and killed in Philadelphia. The incident occurred at approximately 8:41 p.m. on the 7500 block of Mayland Road. Philadelphia Police Officers responded to reports and found Michael lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his head. Medical personnel arrived shortly after, but unfortunately, Macon did not survive his injuries.
