In the late summer of 2016, a Philadelphia neighborhood was shaken by a burst of violence that ultimately claimed the life of one of its own. On the 5500 block of Spring Street, in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 7th, shots rang out, leaving 33-year-old Marcus Edge gravely wounded. Philadelphia Police officers responded to the scene at 12:15 a.m. and discovered Marcus inside a white Nissan Maxima, suffering from gunshot wounds.
