On January 1, 1985, the body of 20-year-old Kenneth Wesley Boyer was discovered in a remote industrial area in North Portland, Oregon. Boyer had been shot while sitting in his car, which was partially concealed by nearby equipment. His body was found after police were flagged down by passersby who noticed the vehicle parked along N.
